It is manifested through non-sexual, companionate currencies such as hand-holding, a pat on the back, a warm smile, verbal encouragement, and emotional safety. While vital for building a peaceful sanctuary, it operates on a completely different power grid than Somatic Intimacy and can never be used to settle an intimacy debt.
